As a friendship between Chef MacLean and Chef Ek developed the conversation often turned to the similarities between classic Japanese cuisine and the techniques of the Nordic regions. This dinner is born of the need to explore and further this conversation. As such Magnus will be joining
Chef Darren MacLean of Shokunin as well as Duncan Ly of Foreign Concept for 7 courses Tuesday October 10th 2017 at 7pm.
The goal of this collaborations is to create a truly unique world class dinner that will explore and pair the techniques of the new Nordic movement with Japans ancient culture while simultaneously set to the background of our nations plethora of local and wild ingredients.
